Andy,
There's a guy in Jeannette, PA who Lynn Crowley and I use. He's expensive
as heck, as most good platers are. Being good, and the cost of chemical
disposal, has caused chroming to skyrocket in the past few years.

I would heed Mark E's advice and buy new chromed springs if you can get'em
from him. I'd bet the cost of rechroming springs will easily be as much or
more as buying new.

i need some info- where can i get the chrome stuff on the V700
re-chromed? [preferably in the north-east]. the shock springs, swing arm
nuts, and front fender stays are flaking/peeling. uuuggghhh!
