Here's what I'm looking for in my "perfect" battery:
- should be the same or nearly the same dimensions as the stock size
battery since I want to retain the o.e. battery holddown.
- should be sealed, dry, or vented through a tube to the ground (or
catch bottle). No vented caps ever again for me.
- should have adequate cranking power - at least 300cca
- not priced like the U.S. military is buying it

Anyone tried the Odyssey battery in their Loop? I see EPF has them on
their website. Cheers,

A while back we were discussing the Centennial battery. Did anyone ever
get the correct mdl/part no. to use in a Loop? Also been looking at the
Interstate YIX30L (sealed lead-acid) which seems to fit all my criteria.

With my brother's dealer discount it will probably cost about the same.
Checked with the dealer I got the Falcone battery from and they wouldn't

recommend the Panasonic LC-X1228P or any battery of that type originally

intended for use as back-up power in UPS systems so the search for the
"perfect" battery continues...
