i'm gonna run one in an ambo with a valeo starter (i'm assuming it takes
a lot less cca than the marelli..and another in my sp, which spins
pretty good with a tractor battery. i know the wheelchair/ups batteries
have a long discharge/pwer density, and not a high cca, but others have
said they work fine..

It does not have the crank amps capacity that your everyday car battery has. They are designed to give long discharge times only, not startup power. I work with these batteries everyday of my boring life. Did anyone ever get the correct mdl/part no. to use in a Loop? Also been looking at the Interstate YIX30L (sealed lead-acid) which seems to fit all my criteria. With my brother's dealer discount it will probably cost about the same. Checked with the dealer I got the Falcone battery from and they wouldn't recommend the Panasonic LC-X1228P or any battery of that type originally intended for use as back-up power in UPS systems so the search for the "perfect" battery continues...
