Greg,
drill out and replace w/ generic is what guzziology suggests. I really like Ron's solution for longevity though, if your not concerned with keeping things close to original. And I just wanted to echo the other comments about your web site. It is a real asset and one of the things that convinced me I could take these two old loops and get them running again.

I've got some sloppy shift linkage on the Ambo. Essentially, the pins
and holes have wallered out with time and use (and not enough
lubrication). The end result is that there is a lot of free play in the
linkage.

Other than purchasing new linkage (which I assume is no longer
available?), what is a good way to fix this problem? Would it be best to
drill out the holes and replace with generic bushings and pins?
