I know what you mean. I have a 2002 Triumph Tiger and thought it
couldn't get any better. Had some spare cash and my tiger was out of
commission while I had the seat recovered and bought a '73 Eldo Police
Special. Can't get over the feeling of riding the Eldo. Broke a throttle
cable after a Guzzi Rally in the Blue Ridge Mts. of NC and was out for
over a month trying to get the right parts, rebuilding the Amals and
fixing a generator mount. Cranked it back up last night, tweaked the
carbs and rode. Love the Tiger, really love the Guzzi.
Now I want to get an SP1000 or similar '80s bike for super Highway
rides, Need to be able to run 90mph for long distances sometimes.
