If you have the Koni shocks put on V7 SPorts and some of the police
Eldos, you can rebuild and adjust them to work very well. Which do you
have?

But, the rebuilding question get's more toward the tinkering side in me that just likes to figure stuff out. Perhaps it's more trouble (or more money) than it's worth to rebuild a pair of 30+ year old shocks. But if it's not, then I'll be able to entertain myself for hours!
