I enjoy reading your comments and have learned a lot
from the advice given. I am on Yahoo and the ads
don't affect anything for me. I'm fine with just
ignoring them... beats paying for the list.

Look, I hate these adds, I never understood these
things. I have never
clicked on one, I have never seen one that sparked
my interest so bad I
bought anything from one. I don't know a soul that
has had any dealings with
one. Why do these folks do it? Have any of you ever
clicked one?
What in the world would possess a person to get up
in the morning and think
it was a good idea to advertise this way? People are
insane.
On the other hand, I have never meet a bunch of
better folks. I have met a
person I call a friend now through this list that I
would probably never
have met. I have seen acts a selflessness that make
Jesus look like the
devil(well maybe not that extreme). I have seen
parts sell, traded, and
given away. I have seen rides planned, and our own
mini-rallies put
together. I have thanked folks for good advice and
have been thanked.
Remember to loop list bike? For those that were not
here it was a bike that
was gonna be built out of everyone's spare parts.
This bike would be passed
around the country like a drunk prom queen around a
party:-)
Anyways the pluses are far greater than these damn
adds. But it is the folks
that make the list, not Topica. So I guess, tell
Topica to hit the bricks.

Okay...
Let's have a "show of hands" on who else feels the
same as Clifton and
Gary. Personally, I haven't been subjected to any
more spam since I
joined this list than before and have no problems
getting my Loop mail
because of the ads. Yes, I agree the ads are very
annoying, but Topica
says "they need to do this to continue the lists for
no charge". I just
ignore them and read the message. It also helps if
when you reply to a
message, cut out the ads already there instead of
sending them again and
again.
If y'all would rather we go somewhere else, then
I'll set it up and
transfer all the list members. Suggestion of where
to host the list in
addition to Clifton's suggestion are welcome. Thanks
for this list (for
anyone who doesn't know) go to Dave Otis, who
created it in May 2000 and
maintained it until I took over a while back.
In closing, anyone who wants to unsubscribe need
only click on the
appropriate link at the bottom of Loop List email
messages or send a
blank email to:
Loopframe_Guzz-@topica.com . Cheers,
Charlie
