Lenny, I too found it expedient to put the forks and swing arm, and the wheels and tires, on before doing anything else. This raises the bike up so it is easier to work on, keeps the frame off of the floor, and makes it easy to move around. Installing the motor is a two-person project, and must be done carefully or you will scrape up that beautifully painted frame.
