I actually haven't used it on the rocker covers, didn't think of it at
the time. I don't think it would be a problem, however. It's not a thick
coating that would yellow, and it certainly wouldn't reliquify, even if
it isn't a word. I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try on the covers; if
you're hinky about it I think that Mother's makes some kind of
post-polishing sealer that does the same thing.
If you use the Future floor polish, it the rest of it makes a great
gift for your significant other if you add a mop; Christmas is right
around the corner.

 so putting it on rocker covers is probably a no-no?

i'm assuming it yellows or just re-liquifies (is that even a word?) from
heat

 I've used it on mainly rims and cowlings and such. I 've used it on a
primary case and it seemed to be ok. You just wipe it on real thin and
that's it, you really don't see it, My feeling is that it may soak in
and seal the aluminum a few microns on the surface, preventing oxygen
from getting to the aluminum.
