I use a 00 micro balloon polish cream for aircraft. What it does issmoothes
out the micro scratches any or your abrasive polishes leave for a mirroron
finish.
email me later for the brand and web address as I just got in from 4 days
the trail.caked
you will love the stuff and wont believe the results. Forget your cycle
stuff and buffing wheels.

Subject: RE: Buffing Aluminum - Part 2Hey John,
Thanks for the relies. Once you get your parts buffed do you coat them
with anything or just let them ride?
Thanks again.

Forgot to mention, Do not mix polishing compounds on the same buffs.
Mark each buff with the compound you're using on it. Wash the old
a
on polish off frequently and of course when switching compounds. Have
the
soft cloth to wipe the white rouge/dust off with frequently when in
partsfinal step.
The results get better as you work more on it. I ended up redoing
2-3 times as I caught on and the results got better.
