Charlie,
That is how my AAA's are attached also.
It's nice that you don't have to remove both engine/tranny mounting
bolts (the long ones) to remove the bracket for service. I just had
mine off to fab up a new shifter heel-toe arm. Mine broke about 100
miles from home on the Italian Motofest return trip. The one I built is
a lot more heavy duty, but I kept the 'original' Harley Davidson heel
peg that was on it when I bought the bike.

Hi Jason and all, I was looking at my Triple 'boards this evening and held them up to see how they fit. It looks like the rear of the rail mounts to the footpeg/transmission through bolt and the front to the 8mm bolt of the lower crashbar attachment point - is this correct? I figured they would mount to both of the engine/trans bolts but the front doesn't angle down enough and they're a bit too short for that. It does look like I'll be able to use the stock brake pedal, but it would be in the way of where I'd want to put my feet. A Convert/G5/etc. alternative may be a better idea.
