Hi Charlie,
I also have a set of the ss Rick Woods clamps and would love to see a
pix of how they are mounted. Not even close to being in a position to
use them on my Ambo restoration but would like to have a picture or two
for reference when the time comes.
TIA,
Lenny Seidman

Hi Jason, Do you have pics of the Triple A brake lever and connecting bits? I bought a pretty nice set with everything but those parts for $30 (even came with a spare board). I thought about fitting the Guzzi lever(s) in place of the cheesy looking Triple A one(s) - would it be possible to just use the stock civilian brake lever if it was positioned so it wouldn't hit the board when braking? The answer to the headpipe-to-frame clamp problem is to use the type that clamps around the pipe and mounts to the 8mm bolt of the crashbar lower mounting. Rick Woods made some s.s. reproductions for me and the set on my '69 has worked well so far. I like them because they don't mess up the paint on the frame and you can hardly notice them. I can take some pics if you'd like. Did you get my message about your offer of lending me the DB brackets? If you respond offline, reply to the Ambo-@netscape.net or c.d.mul-@att.net addresses - mail to the li-@loopframe.com doesn't get to me just yet. Cheers, Charlie jason telford wrote:
