Donny,
No, you can leave the lowers intact. The front end of the barrel should
unscrew completely revealing the end of the throttle cable. When you have
it apart, check for fraying of the cable where it goes into the barrel,
unlikely but could happen. When you reassemble grease liberally with a
light grease. Best, Bob

Greetings, I'm trying to replace the upper throttle and choke cables on my '70 Ambo. Is there a way to get the uppers out of the 2 into 1 adapters and still leave the lowers hooked up or do I have to disconnect the lower cables from the carbs? Thanks, Donny |
