My early '69 Ambo (Oct. of '68 production date I think) has the starter
button, but a friends '69 V700 does not. I suspect the original button
is a "Made in Italia" part from it's construction. Cheers,

Charlie

Early V700 & Ambo started by use of the key just like a car. Later
models came out with a start button on the right side of the handlebars.

I'm confused. Where's the start "button"?! Mine only has a key.
Maybe its not really a Guzzi start button at all but some sftermarket
part from Britian, Milwaukee, or the Black Forest. She may not like
being prodded by some foreign circuit. Then again, Guzzi did go to
Bosch for the motor.

Hi Charlie

Took the start button apart today and cleaned it up, wasn't too
bad
though.
Fired the ambo up, and it started right away. No clicking.

Kind regards
