Ya Hi Ian,
I've been pretty quiet here recently trying to survive 2 layoffs in 2 years. Got my fingers crossed, right now all seems pretty good. Must be a good sign I am thinking of the loop again!
I changed the needles and enrichener valves in the carbs. Ready for a test ride soon.
I'll do the bearings, I was always intrigued by the bearing design. It appears that the inner and outer races are locked up when you loosen the axle nut. Someone told me that the axial force of tightnening the nut squeezes the bearing and that allows the inner race to rotate.
Do I have it right??
All the BEst
Pete still in PA ( barely)
