Chris,
Did you open/close the points by hand to see if you get a spark at the
end of the distributors HT lead? Did you check the points' wire from
distributor to the coil ?
Is there any side-to-side play in the distributor shaft which would
affect the points opening and closing?
Isn't there a auto-application condenser that can be swapped for an
Eldo unit?

Okay here's where I am... 1. I have power to the coil from the ignition switch. 2. Coil reads 1.8-2.1 ohms. 3. New points adjusted and gapped correctly. 4. All plug and coil wires test good with the meter. 5. New spark plugs gapped correctly. 6. Still no spark...I've pulled the HT wire from the distributor and held it near to ground and cranked the engine and I see no spark at all. Will a bad condenser shut everything down like this? It's the only thing I can come up with. If I remove the condenser and try to crank the engine, will it work or hurt anything? I am at wits end here...looks like Ken may be making a trip down to see me next week. Any advice will be appreciated. Also, am I overlooking anything be it simple or not? TIA!
