Not sure about your old bearing, but the newer ones have FLAT WASHERS that
serve as races on both the inner and outer sides of the throwout bearing. I
have som nice pictures of some VERY worn ones from my V65 C which have
circular concentric wears tracks about halfway through the thickness of the
race washer.
