The intake manifold is the curved Aluminum tubing which goes between the
carburettor and the cylinder head. On the Eldorado, there is a cast in lug
about halfway around the outside curvature. This lug is drilled and tapped
to hold a screw. The screw is removed to install a hollow fitting which
allows attachment of vacuum tubing. The Ambassador does NOT have this extra
cast lug. It is possible to machine a flat on the Ambassador manifold and
carefullly drill/tap for a similar plug application.
