i use the tomasselli throttle on my gt850 cali too. works a treat.
dunno about on the smaller dellorto's but if you shorten/lighten the springs
on the larger le mans style carbs, you are very likely to find the throttle
slides won't go down again when you close the throttle from high speed. i
know, it's happened to me. scary!

Mike- i changed my throttle over to a tomasselli 2c- huge difference! then ya just wind down the thumbscrew to adjust tension [i like alot of drag on |
so i can let go of the bars occasionally without losing speed]. this thing beats the crap out of the superpractic. yeah, topica has been messed up |
over a week. andy ----- Original Message ----- From: "EldoMike" <msse-@classicguzzi.com> To: "loopframe list" <Loopfram-@topica.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 2002 06:39 PM Subject: Carb springs Anybody done the shortening of the springs to reduce spring tension? I'm starting to look like a right handed Popeye...or JB... Also, it seems like it takes a long time for post to get to me...anybody else having that problem? Mike www.classicguzzi.com |
