Mike,
Lighter springs are available, but I don't remember where at the
moment, but the lightest spring has .042" wire. I remember reading that they
require minimal throttle cable and twist grip friction which means exact
cable routing and lubing. My old Eldo had a clutch kinda like
that........only on my left arm. When I put the new clutch in I requested
Heavy duty springs and apparently that is what I got. On the positive side I
did not site at red light with the clutch in and the trans in gear, I
learned to find the real neutral real quick.
Occasionally it seem to take forever for a message to get through
and then sometimes only a few seconds. I had just assumed that when Topica
got busy things just slowed down. Of course my computer is three years old
so things have to get quite slow before I notice.

Anybody done the shortening of the springs to reduce spring tension? I'm starting to look like a right handed Popeye...or JB... Also, it seems like it takes a long time for post to get to me...anybody else having that problem? Mike www.classicguzzi.com |
