shucks/autozone/pep boys
there is a rubber dog bone deal that is about 5 bucks. get a set of 8" j
hooks (same store) I had to cut a bunch of a set of 10" j hooks.
hook the j's unber each side of the battey tray. then a couple peices of
hard foam or similar to make sure the batt doesn't slide in case of a tip
over.
Other than buying a new hold down or if you don't have access to welding
equipment it is the most elegant solution I have used.

The tray is good and solid, I just need the frame at the top and the two j-bars. Or, does anyone have a tip on assembling something from an auto parts store? I am tired of holding the battery in with bungee cords - it still slides around. Thanks, Bob ============================================================ Good, Better, BEST!
