Thomas,
I am using a big-ass Harley battery. What is "checkers", an auto-parts
store? Don't have one here in Rochester, NY. Do you think just try to get
a frame with holes and some j-bars and engineer something- like you did?
Thanks, Bob

Bob,

What size battery are you using? Large or lawnking?

I bought a battery holder-downer(technical name) at checkers. It fits my
lawnking battery o.k., with just a little re-engineering. about 3 bucks.

I too, hate bungee cords for vital componants!

 Gentlemen,
Anyone have a battery hold down setup for sale for my 69 Ambo? The tray
is good and solid, I just need the frame at the top and the two j-bars.

Or, does anyone have a tip on assembling something from an auto parts
store? I am tired of holding the battery in with bungee cords - it
still slides around.

Thanks, Bob
