Richard,
My personal favorite is the Arai Signet, but this is primarily because
of my "watermelonesque" head; i.e. rather oblong and large. I tried a
lot of others but couldn't find one that came close to fitting me. As it
was I had to buy the Signet in a XXXL. Anyway, I have found the Signet
to be comfortable on day-long rides. I still wear earplugs to preserve
my hearing so I can't really comment whether the thing could ever be
considered to be "quiet".

Anyway I don't keep up on things like what is
current in the helmet world, so I'll ask you guys. Anyone have a favorite at the moment? I like the idea of the Nolan with the flip up chinguard so I don't need to take my glasses off to get it on and off. |
