I have the Arai Quantum/S; it is one of the lightest full face helmets
available. For wind noise use a neck curtain, earplugs or there is a new
thing, a strip you stick on top of your helmet that actually breaks up the
air eddies and reduces buffeting which causes the ear annoyance. As you
know, full face helmets with flip up chinguards are heavier so there is more
weight on your head to hold up and turn with aging neck muscles and bones.
Now is a good time to buy a helmet. Bob
