Subject: Tranny Fluid and a Few ?'s

The Ambo is back together. Book tells how to drain tranny but not where
to fill it and what type of fluid it requires. Can someone tell me
where to fill the trans and what type of fluid to use? Also, the
generator was rebuilt, mechanic tried to polarize it, worked briefly
then stopped. Method was to tap the positive battery terminal to the
middle white wire on the regulator, believe that is the field wire. Is
there another trick/did I tell them how to polarize it correctly?
Wonder why it didn't stay polarized? Last question is how to change the
fork oil, how much is required to refill, and what oil to use to fill
it.
