I think it is common to all Guzzi riders because (with that trip as an
example) the other two guys were on Guzzi's as well. A Cal III and an SP
I think that it is not a matter of being cheap as much as it is having abike,
bike that allows you to ride 500 miles with no warning whatsoever. No need
to "run it by the shop" before a trip. This leads to lack of planning ie:
no toll money, as the sum total of most of our trips are planned this way:
"Wanna go on a ride?"
"Sure. Where you wanna go?"
"See the shipyard in Norfolk?"
"OK"
Repeat for added riders and LEAVE!
Works every time. :-)
