Now this is what I am talking about Gents! JB planning an Alaska trip on a
Loop. I think Rider magazine, Motorcyclist and Cycle World ought to do a
story on that. Certainly MAGNOC mag. needs to do a piece on this. We (or
just JB, I ain't tough enough to ride to Alaska) could show the bike world
that Loops are tough, long distance bikes that are still very capable. Am I
pipe dreaming here guys? There are some of us on this list that are good
riders and good mechanics and could really make a go of long, long rides and
somehow talk and write about it. Just a thought. Bob

I think it was 1340 miles in 23 hours. I did do a 950 mile day on the Eldo/Velo rig once, my arms were mush after that. I only rode 50k on loopframes and 120k on the T-3. I bought the T-3 in April of 98 and my first loop in May of 99. I do plan on doing Alaska again but this time on a loopframe. Hopefully within 2 years. JB (Weld)
