The left carb has a problem in that it will only run with the choke partially on. With the choke off, the laft side will not run at all, but as I increase the choke, it will start to run lean (backfires) but will run properly if I give it a little more choke. I rebuilt both carbs, and have had no problems at all with the right side. Since having this problem, I have disassembled the carb completely, and checked for any air leaks between the intake manifold and carb, but had no success. The right side has the same size jets as the left, and runs fine, so I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated. My only other problem is with the gas cap gasket. My gas cap leaks a little gas onto the tank. Does anyone know where I can get a new replacement gasket?
