Cleaned it once a couple of years ago, but didn't lube it or
anything...guess I'll clean it again. Thankfully it's not hard to do.

Switch gear in there needs to be clean and bright and bone dry. I use rubbing alcohol to clean the grease off the contacts, then spray electric contact cleaner in there and allow to dry off, Brighten up any worn areas with fine emory paper and blow dry again. Very tiny amount of fine grease or Vasaline on contact points.
