That's good to know what other guys experience.
I need to synch the carbs with vacuum. Maybe that's part of why the speed
varies.
That will be a winter project since I have to tap some holes in the
manifolds.
Also I never touched the carbs, so I'll give them a look then too

It should die after 5 revs with one cylinder disconnected while setting the idle speed, so it makes sense for it to idle at a very slow, almost dyin' speed. Mine, once it's warmed up never misses a beat at this idle speed. Chris in NC
