Hi John,

What are you using the relay switches for? I am only using one for the =
ignition because I don't want to draw too much current through the fuse =
block in the headlight. I guess I should use one for the headlight as =
well but so far I haven't had a problem.

I haven't had a problem with my ignition relay switch but I always keep =
a spare. For three bucks it doesn't cost much to replace one and I think =
it is far cheaper and easier to replace it then a melted fuse block.=20

I might suggest that the problem may be something other than the =
relay.....not sure what though. Another thought is to use a higher rated =
relay...I use a 30amp one.

One last suggestion. As preventative maintenance you might chage them =
every year.

Good luck and let us know what you learn......Ian

I beleive that I have had enough humiliation from being stopped dead =
because of a bad relay switch. Is there a way to bypass this device and =
if so, how? If not, can one buy one of better quality than the two year =
lifespan garbage that I have had to use in the last three replacements. =
Electricity is not my business but I feel that there has to be a better =
option out there.=20
Thanks:
