Ed and all-
The mixture screw can be set easily by adjusting it until you get your
fastest idling (turn 1/8 turn at a time, wait 15-30 seconds before turning
further)...then do the other cylinder the same. Set idle speed
correctly(pull one plug, set to turn over 5 or 6 times before dying...do the
other side), then do it again. Twice thru is usually enough...I set mine
once, and haven't touched it for months. Still running great. Be sure to
sync the slides too.

As I remember it when the belt finally broke on the road, the light stayed on until I replaced the belt. On a separate note, does anyone know of the correct settings for the Mixture screws and the throttle slide screws on the VHB carbs.
