Set the screws out 1 1/2 turns to start. Adjust accordingly after
that...idle first then mixture.

I had this happen to me when I noticed that my generator belt had too much
slack in it and was slipping on the pulley. As I remember it when the belt
finally broke on the road, the light stayed on until I replaced the belt. On
a separate note, does anyone know of the correct settings for the Mixture
screws and the throttle slide screws on the VHB carbs. They were apart when
I got them and I need to set them up initially until I can adjust.
