Hi,
I haven't really been on a good 30 min run but generally let the bike =
warm up. I just got back from the best ride I have taken and I noticed =
a=20
weird noise kinda like a tic or a ping maybe I am not sure what a ping =
in a motor sounds like. I did richen the left carb a tad seemed to help =
the performance.
I don't think the valve lash is too loose as I have checked it, but the =
noise is kinda bothersome. I guess I'll rider til she stops, probably =
get to go on a longer ride next week end. I have a wixom fairing but =
don't have it on the bike I don't really like the look.

Hi Charles,
My 73.5 Eldo takes about 20 minutes of riding time before my valve(s) =
become noisy. The mystery sound that I hear dosen't really sound the =
same as what I perceive as typical valve noise. My lifters always sound =
more noisy at 55 mph, especially on the left side. The mystery sound =
only takes place after the bike has warmed up and only at certain rpm's. =
No one can seem to figure out what it is, including vary reputable Guzzi =
repair technicians. The sound dosen't hinder the performance of the =
bike, it's just antagonizing. If you or anyone else on the list can give =
