Rick,

Great to hear that the bike is running well now. Whatever works eh? :-) Let
me know if those plugs hold up.

The little burps (I call them sneezes) seem to be normal on these bikes for
some reason. I remember when I rode to the National last year...the bike ran
great the whole way. Just one time.....somewhere in New York I think...the
bike sneezed.....never did it again. Weird. Just part of the personality I
suppose.

Let me know how it goes. Regards....Ian

Hey Ian,
I got the part number outta Harpers on what they list for the V700.
I have the Autolites in now, and the bike is running like a dream, just
curious for how long,
the NGK's worked great but burned out really quick as in less than 10
miles.
I have almost 20 on these
Autolites now, I did re-adjust the carbs towards lean, only thing is I am
running in the richest position for the
needle on the slide, the bike runs too lean in any other position. I think
because the exhaust is pretty much open
and I am using the ini filter. Matter of fact I just got back from a short
ride the bike is running beutiful. I am still
getting a burp up through the carb every once in awhile, seems you said
this
is pretty normal. Well gotta run,
going helmet shopping. According to another email on the part numbers the
BP6ES is a little hotter plug than what I am running.
that could be why I keep fouling the NGK as they were a colder plug.
