Just to expand on Rich's comment on sound. I was impressed by the sound on
his BMW.
Nice and low and throaty.
I thought it was the standard sound of a BMW .
I am glad to hear this exchange, when I am ready to replace mine , I'll go
with MACs
Rich, you didnt mention the 12 years of MAC life included surviving your
riding style and that trip to Alsaka last year. You tend to forget you
dont run a GS most of the time.

Thru Miguel's web url - I have also been able to ascertain that the mufflers on my 76 R60/6 are Mac slash cuts - I had been told that before but never could confirm much less get , on top of that they're Guzzi listing! This makes me very happy because the appearances and sound have been a signature for this bike- I know they are running out of time , now I can happily get both the mufflers for ambo and r60/6 here with confidence. I know they where differently in terms of finish consistently - these mufflers are at least 12 years old - that is pretty good return on the money put out.
