Subject: "70 ambassador questions

I'm thinking of buying my first guzzi, how can you tell a police version
from a civillian, is one more desirable then the other? my triumphs run
great with amal carbs, do the amals work good on the ambo? are the
origonal or reprints of the shop manuals hard to come by? any other tips
on purchasing a 1970 ambassador would be greatly appreciated.
