Hi all you loopframe nuts.My name is Rich Marchand. My wife and I and
our 2 Labs reside in Monticello Indiana. This is my first and only
Guzzi (so far) a74 Eldorado.I bought it in 90 as a non running bike
with many problems,as I was to find out.At that time I had only heard
of Guzzi and never seen one before, but I was ready to try something
different. The bike has not had a full restoration, but has been pretty
well gone through mechanically.Recent improvements include..good paint
job,new tires,solo seat,new cylinders(chrome peeling on old ones),
valve job,new lifters ,new Dellotro carbs(had Amals) windshield from
Harper's and spotlights. This thing ROCKS !!! I am truly obsessed with
it.
I am new to this list,a couple of weeks, but have been on the MGCL for
a couple of years. Both lists have been a great source of info, and its
nice to know there other people that enjoy the loopframe styling, feel
and the symphony the engine makes.
The date of manufacture is September,1973,titled as a 74,serial
number 060921.I don't have a recent pic,but I could send an older
one.I'm looking forward to hearing more from this list and enjoy the
Loopframe site.
Keep on riding
Rich Marchand
