Paul,
When I pull just the right side plug wire, the engine dies in about
3 revolutions. And I can hear "spitting" in the carb (seems to come
from the left side) as well when starting out when cold.
Good idea; I'll drop the left float bowl and have a look inside.
Bruce
PS - been meaning to adjust the front brakes but just haven't found
the time. I need a month of weekends to get all my projects finished.

Bruce,
What happens when you just pull the right side? It does sound
like it's time to balance them. Might want to check the left carb for
blockages.

My Eldo hasn't been running as well as before and I suspected
one of the plugs wasn't do its job. I pulled the left side plug wire
off and the engine continued to run with a slight drop in rpms (by audio
only); slight increase when wire was re-attached. Pulled the right side
plug wire and in about 3 revolutions, the engine died.
Time to balance the carbs ??
