Thanks for the help gentlemen, As a matter of fact, the nuts do have the slots around them. I guess that a schoor washer is the wavey lock washer. If thats the case I will see if there is enough contact between the nut and the washer to use justify the use of the washers. Duesn't seem like there would be any harm. I will check with the pros tomorrow. Greg
