Thanks Fell'as I think I cleared it up reading the Haynes Manual at the Doctors office. The early loop engines use the bend over tab, then with the Tonti model, they went to the castle nut, which, is indeed self-locking. See Haynes pg. 42 # 15 Thanks again, Greg
