For the past several years we have been trying different alternatives to
pins as a "rally keepsake". Most Guzziesti have a drawer full of the things,
& it seems collecting them is not as popular as it once was. Last year we
gave a Sun-Moon-Stars bandana printed w/the date & location of the rally,
this year it is the black nylon "ditty" bag. We're trying to come up with
different & useful items. If you notice, we don't date our T-shirts. Back in
the '90s we had a rally turn-out of 35 one year, due to a hurricane that
tracked up the blue ridge & caused tons of damage. This year (for example) I
laid out over $900.00 for T-shirts, if we were to have another disaster, I
can pack them up & sell them next year.
