Ted:
Drain the oil and check the magnetic drain plug for flakes.
I've heard that it's not unusual to replace the main and have it leak again.

About 100 miles ago I replaced my rear main seal and yesterday I noticed it was leaking again, while just sitting in the garage. This scares me because I am thinking one of my cylinders may have flaking chrome which is grinding on the seal. Is there an easy way to see if chrome is in the oil or should I just pull the heads?
