Once you unbolt the swingarm, it will just pull away from the
transmission. There is nothing holding them together except the fact
that they are bolted down next to one another (and the boot I guess).
Its not complicated, just time consuming. I took mine off for the first
time with no real reference, just started turning bolts.

I like the idea that I do not have to remove the rear wheel, but how does the swingarm come out of the bike to get that boot on? Do I unbolt the wheel, undo the swingarm bolts, and slide it out somehow? I gather the U-joint and driveshaft must somehow be removed to get it off and get the boot on? I ordered a new O-ring seal and 2 square seals where the driveshaft mates to the rear drive and plan to replace those also.
