For a swing arm tool, I just picked up a pair of cheep needle nose pliers and filed the nose down to fit the holes

You know I never thought about the fact that I could leave the wheel
attached. Thats a good timesaving tip right there.
As for the swingarm bolts that require a special tool... I put in two
halves of an allen wrench (or two allen wrenches I guess) that just fit
into the holes and then straddle them with a big adjustable wrench and
it works fine.
