I seem to recall you do have to remove the "shaft" that holds the brake actuating lever(s), right? Ted - I agree, your method will work so long as those bolts are not too tight. It is really easy to bust off a pin/allen wrench in there. :)

Thats a good timesaving tip right there. As for the swingarm bolts that require a special tool...
