I was hoping somebody would ask!
On the first go-round I made a chalk mark on the tire and a chalk mark
on the garage floor and rolled it one revolution, then measured.
It sort of worked but as the speed increased so did my speedometer
error. The second time I put the bike on a lift and took a roll of
masking tape and ran it around the circumference of the front wheel,
marked and measured. About 50 mm difference from the first time. I
will be checking the accuracy on the road to the National.
Final result was 2.0115 M on a worn 120 90 V18 Dunlop
