I found a new take-off seat from a late model Harley police bike at a swap
meet for $60. After a little modification to the mounting bracket it fit
right on. Very comfortable and in my opinion, doesn't look too bad either.
For a photo of the bike, taken at it's first outing, at the Arizona rally,

I bought a seat pan from Mark and took it to a local shop (here in Tulsa)
They created new foam and a new cover (I wanted an orange top with black
sides) and it looks and feels great. Whole thing seat pan and all was about
$250
