i haven't tried mark etheridge's seat, so can't comment.
harper's solo seat is not so good - very thin, weak pan.
bill mayer saddles are very nice, expensive, but works great.

I have heard bad things about the Harper's pan. I was comparing Mark's and MG Cycle's. I don't know if a springer seat will be the ticket. MG Cycle warns of an about 200 pound limit.
