Hi Ted,
I was having the same problem...seems that a new breather has help
substantially. I'm with Skip in thinking that the 30 + year old flapper
spring get's weak and allows too much air-oil mist into the breather -
thereby overwhelming its capacity. So, you might just want to give Rick
and Gordon a call Monday morning and see if that doesn't take care of it
for you. You could also perform a leak down test...to see how much is
actually getting past the rings, etc.
